This short course provides a condensed, high-level introduction to the key topics from the full UN806 Nuclear Fuel Engineering program, including the nuclear fuel cycle, fuel design and components, fuel manufacturing, in-reactor behaviour, failure modes and effects analyses, fuel performance under both design-basis and severe accident conditions, and fuel qualification.
