The 2021 North American Young Generation Nuclear Conference will host a mix of panellists, keynote speakers and workshops, with the theme of “Knowledge is Power”.

NOV. 26, 2021 – As the clean energy transition gains momentum, the faces of the industry’s future are converging to add knowledge to the human energy behind nuclear’s role in achieving net zero by 2050.

The second annual North American Young Generation Nuclear (NAYGN) Canadian Regional Conference will take place Dec. 3 at the Toronto Reference Library. Nuclear professionals and recent graduates will network and listen to panels and keynotes addressing innovations within the sector, the value of nuclear, and ways to communicate nuclear’s value to the public effectively.

Registration for the event is open now. This year’s theme, “Knowledge is Power,” emphasizes the importance of knowledge transfer and information sharing. The conference will include keynotes on The Power of Innovation and Communicating the Message, with panels and workshops on Emerging Opportunities in Nuclear and Public Outreach/Engagement.

Industry participant registration is $35 and student registration is $15. Each ticket includes a catered lunch and refreshments, with the registration window closing on Dec. 1. An optional social engagement will take place in the evening at the Prenup Pub.
